1. Promoter
The organiser of this competition is Adcock Ingram Healthcare (Pty) Ltd and/or its designated agencies (“the Organisers”).
2. Competition Name
This competition is called the Bioplus® Energy Drinks “Summer Stacks” Competition.
3. Competition Period
The competition will run from 1 October 2026 to 24 December 2026, both days inclusive (“the Competition Period”).
No entries received after 23h59 on 24 December 2026 will be considered.
4. Eligibility
4.1. The competition is open to all natural persons who are 18 years or older, citizens or permanent residents of South Africa, currently residing in South Africa, and in possession of a valid South African identity document and South African bank account.
4.2. Exclusions: The Organisers, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, as well as their immediate family members, including spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, and business partners are not eligible to enter.
5. How to Enter
5.1. Buy any one (1) x 440 ml Bioplus® Energy Drink from participating retail outlets during the Competition Period.
5.2. Send a clear picture of your valid till slip via WhatsApp to the designated competition number: 0762085899
5.3. The till slip will be verified. Each valid till slip will count as one (1) entry into the weekly prize draw.
5.4. Participants may enter multiple times, provided that each entry is supported by a separate valid till slip.
5.5. Duplicate till slips will not be accepted. Each valid till slip may only be used once.
5.6. Participants must retain their original till slip as proof of purchase for a period of two (2) months after the competition closing date, as this may be required for winner verification.
6. Prizes
6.1. The prize is R20,000 cash weekly for 12 weeks.
6.2. One winner will be selected each week during the Competition Period, subject to receipt of valid entries and successful winner verification.
6.3. The total prize pool is R240,000 cash.
6.4. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. The cash prize will only be paid to the verified winner and will not be paid to a third party unless written consent and authorisation are provided by the winner and accepted by the Organisers.
6.5. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value should circumstances require.
6.6. Any income taxes or other taxes relating to the prize, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
7. Selection and Verification of Winners
7.1. Weekly winners will be randomly selected via a computerised draw from the pool of valid entries received during the relevant draw period.
7.2. The weekly draws will take place on dates determined by the Organisers.
7.3. Winners will be contacted by SMS, WhatsApp, telephone using the contact details provided at entry.
7.4. The Organisers will attempt to contact each winner once per day for three (3) consecutive working days. If contact is unsuccessful, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn.
7.5. To claim a prize, winners must provide:
A valid South African ID document;
The original proof of purchase/till slip used to enter;
Valid banking details in the winner’s own name;
Any further documentation reasonably required by the Organisers, including but not limited to indemnity, disclosure or winner verification forms.
7.6. Winners have seven (7) working days from notification to complete verification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
7.7. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any winner if the required information or documentation is incomplete, invalid, fraudulent or not provided within the required timeframe.
7.8. Cash prizes will be paid into the verified winner’s nominated South African bank account after successful verification has been completed. Payment timelines may vary depending on verification and banking processes.
8. General Rules
8.1. The judges’ and Organisers’ decisions are final and binding.
8.2. The Organisers accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged, delayed, incomplete, illegible, invalid or not received for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
8.3. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, dishonesty, manipulation of the entry process, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
8.4. By entering this competition, participants consent to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including photographs, marketing material, winner announcements and endorsements, without any compensation, where permitted by law.
8.5. Participants indemnify Adcock Ingram Healthcare (Pty) Ltd, the Organisers and their agencies against any damages, losses, claims or liabilities arising from participation in the competition or acceptance and use of the prize.
8.6. The Organisers will interpret these rules at their sole discretion.
8.7. The Organisers reserve the right to amend, suspend, extend or terminate the competition at any time, where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable laws.
9. Personal Information and POPIA
9.1. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the processing of their personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).
9.2. Personal information will be collected and processed by the Organisers for the purposes of administering this competition, verifying entries and winners, contacting winners, and fulfilling prizes.
9.3. Entrants’ personal information may be shared with third-party service providers strictly for purposes related to this competition, including but not limited to campaign administration, winner verification and prize fulfilment.
9.4. Entrants may opt out of future marketing communications from the Organisers at any time using the opt-out mechanism provided.
9.5. Entrants have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za if they believe their personal information has been misused.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of any act of God, strike, lockout, war, civil commotion, fire, pandemic, interruption of services, technical failure or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers preventing them from fulfilling their obligations, the Organisers will not be liable.
11. Disputes and Independent Adjudication
In the event of a dispute regarding the competition, the Organisers’ decision is final.
Should there be a dispute regarding a winner, the decision of an independent, admitted attorney appointed by the Organisers will be final and binding.
12. WhatsApp Disclaimer
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp. Entrants release WhatsApp from any responsibility related to the competition.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts in respect of any disputes.
