TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BIOPLUS “BACK TO SCHOOL/WORK” COMPETITION TO BE RUN IN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA ONLY INDEPENDENT PHARMACY STORES ONLY. 

1. These are the competition specific terms and conditions for the Bioplus “Back to work/school campaign’’ 2024 (“the competition”). By participating in the competition, the user accepts these  conditions of participation.
2. The organiser and promoter of the competition is Adcock Ingram Healthcare (Pty) Ltd with  registration number. 2007/019928/07, a private company duly incorporated under the company  laws of the Republic of South Africa and having its registered place of business situated at 1 New  Road, Midrand, 1684.
3. The competition is open to only South African citizens and permanent residents over the ages of  18 and excludes Promoter, the Promoter’s advertising and promotional agencies, any directors,  members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the promoter or organisers, any supplier  of goods or services in connection with the Competition and the spouse, life partner, business  partner or associate, parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified aforesaid.
4. It is the responsibility of the entrant wishing to enter the competition to make sure they have a  valid identity document, as well as a passport at the time of entering the competition.
5. This competition will run from 01 February 2025 to 30 April 2025 (Closing date). Any entries received before  and after the closing date will not be considered.
6. It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure that his/her entry is completed and received within the  competition dates. Any entries, which are not completed or received before 23h59 on 30 April 2025,  will not be eligible to participate, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
7. The organisers and promoters and their affiliates are not responsible for any entries, which are not  completed and received, regardless of the cause for non-receipt. Any technical failures that lead to any  promotional competition entry being invalid or not received will not be Adcock Ingram’s, and Adcock  Ingram cannot be held responsible for technical errors.
8. To enter the competition, entrants are required to:
   
   • Purchase any Bioplus Effervescent Tablets
   • Place your till slip in the entry box provided with your contact details.
9. Prize: Bioplus Hamper worth R752 incl vat 
   
   1. Hamper consists of 1 x Slazenger Backpack, 1 x Paper Stationery Set, 1 x Maxi Pencil case,  1xDual Eraser and Sharpener, 5 x Pens, Highlighters in case, 30cm Ruler and 1 x double-wall  mug
   2. 75 Independent Pharmacies will partake in the competition and each pharmacy will receive  one hamper to run the competition in store.
   3. No compensation will be payable if a winner or companion is unable to use the prize  (or any part of the prize) as stated
10. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during  the promotion period. The draw will take place on 1 May 2025
11. Notification: Winners will be notified via the contact details provided on the till slip within 2 days of the  draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, an alternative winner will be selected.
12. Prize Collection: Winners must collect their prize from the participating pharmacy where the entry was  submitted within 14 days of notification. Proof of purchase (till slip) and identification will be required.
13. A prize is not transferable or assignable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or  otherwise, except at organizers discretion. Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a  prize of equivalent monetary value, if a prize or any part of the prize cannot be awarded as described for any  reason.
14. If the prize cannot be awarded due any cancellation or other factors beyond organisers reasonable control,  the winner will not be provided with a substitute prize or cash equivalent.
15. The organiser reserves the right to change and /or postpone or terminate the competition immediately  without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that  they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the  organiser or promoter or its agents or distributors.
16. By entering this competition all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and  consent to the use at no consideration of their personal data for the purposes of the administration of this  competition and for marketing purposes related to and following this competition. All entry instructions form  part of the rules.
17. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection
    herewith (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non- contractual in nature,such as claims  in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in  accordance with South African law.Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of  the South African courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
