1. Promoter
The organiser of this competition is Adcock Ingram Healthcare (Pty) Ltd and/or its designated agencies (“the Organisers”).
2. Competition Name
This competition is called the Bioplus® “Summer Win a Suzuki Jimny” Competition.
3. Competition Period
The competition will run from 26 October 2025 to 28 February 2026, both days inclusive (“the Competition Period”). No entries received after
23h59 on 28 February 2026 will be considered.
4. Eligibility
4.1. The competition is open to all natural persons 18 years or older who are citizens or permanent residents of South Africa, currently residing in
South Africa, and in possession of a valid South African identity document.
4.2. To claim the Grand Prize (Suzuki Jimny), the winner must also possess a valid South African driver’s licence.
4.3. Exclusions: The Organisers, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, as well
as their immediate family members (spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling) and business partners are not eligible to enter.
5. How to Enter
5.1. Buy any two (2) x 440ml Bioplus® Energy Drinks from participating retail outlets during the Competition Period .
5.2. Send a clear picture of your valid till slip via WhatsApp to the designated competition number [076 874 4325]. The till slip will be verified.
5.3. Each valid entry will:
• Count as 1 automatic entry into the Grand Prize draw; and
• You will receive a unique code via WhatsApp to play The Bioplus® Quest game for a chance to win your share of R100,000 in weekly prizes.
5.4. Participants may enter multiple times provided each entry is supported by a separate valid till slip.
6. Prizes
6.1. Grand Prize: 1 x Suzuki Jimny (colour subject to availability) valued at approximately R500,000. Only 1 winner will be awarded this Grand Prize.
6.2. Weekly Prizes: A selection of spot prizes including airtime, data, and vouchers. Multiple winners may be awarded instant prizes. Instant prizes are subject to availability and awarded via a randomised digital system based on The Bioplus® Quest leaderboard.
6.3. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. The Grand Prize will not be handed to a third party unless written consent
and authorisation are provided by the winner and accepted by the Organisers.
6.4. The Organisers reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value should circumstances require.
7. Selection and Verification of Winners
7.1. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected via a computerised draw from the pool of valid entries, in the presence of an independent auditor.
7.2. Instant prizes will be allocated automatically through the instant-win game mechanic. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries and prizes available.
7.3. Winners will be contacted by SMS, WhatsApp, telephone or email. The Organisers will attempt to contact winners once per day for 3 consecutive working days. If contact is unsuccessful, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.
7.4. To claim a prize, winners must provide:
A valid South African ID document;
The original proof of purchase (till slip) used to enter;
For the Grand Prize: a valid South African driver’s licence;
Any further documentation reasonably required by the Organisers (e.g., indemnity or disclosure forms).
7.5. Winners have 7 working days from notification to complete verification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
7.6. The Grand Prize vehicle handover will take place at a Suzuki South Africa dealership or accredited partner as determined by the Organisers.
Ownership, licensing, registration, insurance, fuel and all other related costs will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
7.7. If the winner does not collect the vehicle within 21 business days of the agreed handover date, and does not provide a valid alternative
arrangement, the prize will be forfeited.
7.8. Income taxes relating to the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8. General Rules
8.1. The judges’ and Organisers’ decisions are final and binding.
8.2. The Organisers accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged, delayed or not received for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
8.3. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, dishonesty, or unlawful conduct.
8.4. By entering this competition, participants consent to participate in publicity, including photographs, marketing material, and endorsements, without any
compensation.
8.5. Participants indemnify Adcock Ingram and Organisers for any damages or losses related to entering the competition or using the prize.
8.6 The Organisers will interpret the rules at their sole discretion
9. Personal Information and POPIA
9.1. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the processing of their personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act
(POPIA).
9.2. Personal information will be collected and processed by the Organisers for purposes of administering this competition, verifying winners, and providing prizes.
9.3. Entrants’ data may be shared with third-party service providers strictly for purposes related to this competition (e.g., prize fulfilment).
9.4. Entrants may opt out of future marketing communications by the Organisers at any time using the opt-out mechanism provided.
9.5. Entrants have the right to lodge complaints with the Information Regulator of South Africa (complaints.IR@justice.gov.za) if they believe their personal information
has been misused.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of any act of God, strike, lockout, war, civil commotion, fire, pandemic, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers
preventing them from fulfilling their obligations, the Organisers will not be liable.
11. Disputes and Independent Adjudication
In the event of a dispute regarding the competition, the Organisers’ decision is final. Should there be a dispute regarding a winner, the decision of an independent,
admitted attorney appointed by the Organisers will be final and binding.
12. WhatsApp Disclaimer
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp. Entrants release WhatsApp of any responsibility related to the competition.
13. Governing Law
These Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts in respect of any disputes.
